Happy Tuesday Makers! How’s your week going so far? It’s been absolute chaos at my end. With Halloween coming up and Diwali right around the corner, there’s a lot to do. To say, the least. And, I LOVE IT. To me, it’s exciting to make something for a special occasion and see it being used. Do you feel the same way?
I’ve already shared a couple of my favourite Halloween DIYs and I’m working on a masterlist of amazing Diwali projects. In the meantime, I really want to talk about these 7 projects, that I came across in the past week. As always, they can all be made in 1 day or less. Check it out.
The minute, I saw these Homemade Seashell Bath Bombs by A Spark of Creativity, I knew I needed them. They look incredible and the colour is so pretty. Right at the top of my “DIYs to Try” List.
Another amazing craft idea, is Dream A Little Bigger’s fruit keychains. They’re so simple to make and look amazing. The clay makes them quite sturdy and using top coat on them, is a great way to give finish.
Have you ever tried papier mache? If you haven’t, this is the perfect project to start with – Nesting Bowls by Well Nesting. I really like the way the tutorial has been explained, as it’s easy to follow. These bowls would make a nice & personalised gift idea, anyone would be happy to receive
Almost Makes Perfect shared these Faux Ceramic Ring Cones, a while back. And, I’ve been wanting to make a set ever since. Last week, I finally got around to it and am thrilled with the end result. They’re a simple addition to your table. But, an attractive and useful addition.
If you’re a voracious reader like me, you probably lose bookmarks like socks. That’s why, these leather magnetic bookmarks by Make and Tell make so much sense. They can be held in place, when you’re not using them. Saves me a lot of money and effort, buying new ones.
Oh wow! Will you look at that! Vitamini Handmade made this Origami Gemstone, and I’m stunned by how gorgeous it looks. The shiny surface makes the gemstone look absolutely beautiful.
And, that’s my 7 DIY suggestions for the week! Let me know, which DIY projects you can’t wait to try!
