To pick 7 DIYs, has been such a struggle for the past few days. I had way too many favorites! But, after much deliberation, we have noted down 7 of the best for this week. Or we noted the links down, for next week’s post, as well! Ha ha. For now, let’s go through some of best DIY projects, I came across. As with the last post, they are all projects that can be made in a day. And look absolutely amazing! Let’s get started:
First up, is this Iron Transfer Girl Boss Tote by The Crafted Life. Are you loving the name, as much as I am? The design is beautiful and the font is perfect. And I think it’s something that will actually get used. Instead of being made and put in a closet.
Right in time for summer! Sugar & Cloth has this great tutorial on how to make Poolside Pattern Kimonos. What I like the most about this DIY, is that you can put any print on the kimono. Also, it can be used on a lot of different occasions.
This one is for the people who would like to hang canvases at home, but aren’t comfortable with painting. Through this technique by Upcyled Treasures, you can use photos to transfer an image onto a canvas and brighten up the walls in your home.
I’m obsessed with candles and these adorable star-shaped candle holders by Paper & Stitch are an instant favorite. They can be used in almost any setting. We could add colors to it as well. But, I’m partial to the natural tones seen in the tutorial.
Talking about favorites, leads me to think about what I made this week, that I loved. We made, these cute mini flower pots for my desk, using bread. And I literally cannot stop staring at them.
Though it was written a while back, I just came across this fantastic tutorial on How to Watercolor Paint on Fabric by Tidbits. It shows a great way to get beautiful pillow covers, in any color and I can’t wait to try it!
Last, we have this gorgeous plant holder by The Lovely Drawer. They wrote a 3 part article on affordable home tips and all 3 are really worth reading. The details given are easy to follow and the end result is brilliant!
