A while ago, we made a punch art gift wrap for someone and everyone seemed to like it. So, we were toying with the idea of making a video on it. However, as we started working on it, we felt that there was much more that we could do with the idea. That’s when we decided to take the idea and see how it would look on a photo frame. And not to toot our own horn – but, it looks fantastic! I expected it to be good, but it looks so much better than even I imagined. Scroll on, to see what I’m talking about.
Time taken: 1 hour

If you like this video, then please give it a thumbs up on our youtube channel and subscribe (if that’s something you like to do). You can also check out some of our previous videos, whilst there.
Things you should keep in mind while working on this DIY:
- No water. If there’s any water mixed with the paint its going to spread or let the base shine through.
- Always place the flowers before you start pasting. This way you can cover up any mess ups in the painting.
- Make sure the tape is pasted really well, before you start painting. If there are any air bubbles on the edge, the paint will a 100% seep through. Similarly, wait for the paint to dry completely before you take off the tape.
- Use slightly thick paper for the flowers.
There’s a lot you can do to with this design. For instance, you can change the print on the base, or the placement of the flowers or use a completely different shape. It would transform the frame completely and still look great.
This was almost an exact replica of our gift wrapping technique. So, I would recommend checking that out too. Here’s where you can see more on that. On the other hand, if you would like to place an order for the photo frame (we get it, if you don’t have the time to DIY it), you can use the link below to get in touch with us. If you want to customise it (pick your colors, designs etc), make sure to let us know what your preferences are.
We had so much fun making this photo frame! I’m definitely going to be making more of them as gifts. What do you think of them? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below! Bbye!
