It’s that time of the week, where I share the amazing ideas I have come across the blogs I follow. I don’t know, if I covered this in the first of my 7 DIYs post, but the crafts shared through these posts are simple enough to complete in a day (well most of the time) – so you have one craft project for each day of the week. You should also check out the blogs we share, they have the best ideas. Let’s get started!
The first idea that inspired us, was these beautiful Once in a Blue Moon Coasters and Trivets by Paper & Stitch. I love the colors and the design, making it a great set to use and to gift.
I cannot tell you how much of a problem it is to find great shower curtains. So, when I came across this tutorial for Statement Shower Curtains by A Beautiful Mess, I was thrilled! This way, I could make my own curtains. I’m thinking of writing “It’s a New Day” on mine.
What do you think of this DIY Wall Papered Chest of Drawers by Swoonworthy? I think its gorgeous! The finish is beautiful and you can use the technique to have practically any design.
I enjoyed making this Quote That Candle so much. It stays on my bedside table and I love lighting it up in evenings and seeing the quote get highlighted. It’s a nice thought to read right before I sleep (No, I don’t leave the candle lit through the night).
Brittany Makes made this Woven Bench a while back. The design is unique and the bench fits seamlessly into the room. Adding color, while being very useful. For a woodwork newbie like me, the detailed steps given in the tutorial are perfect.
You should also see the Faux Ceramic Napkin Rings made by Almost Makes Perfect. The design is lovely and the materials are convenient to work with. It’s pretty table decor that will blend well with any kind of table setting.
This DIY Wood Birthday Banner by Tell Love and Chocolate became one of my all time favorite banners instantly! The block colors and simple lettering are easy enough for anyone to make. And the end result looks really attractive and cute. What I especially like, is that they would go with any theme or decor. All you need to do, is change the colors to match.
