Happy Friday! If this is your first time reading our 7 DIYs post, its basically where we share 7 amazing DIY ideas that you can make in a day or less. Through the week, we browse around the web. Looking at the amazing content bloggers around the world share. And come Friday, we share our favourites from the week for you to try. One for each day of the week. Trust me, these bloggers are the best and you should really spend some time on their blogs 🙂
First up, are these DIY Gift Card Mini Wreaths by Homey Oh My. I’ve talked about how much I love this blog and for good reason. They come up with stunning minimalistic and creative ideas. And, these wreaths are a great example of how you can have some Christmas cheer without being over the top. Here’s the complete tutorial.
Speaking of the holidays, have you come across these printable paper cut candy huggers by Lia Griffith? Besides being absolutely adorable (I literally went “Awww” when I saw them), they are astonishingly easy to make. You can check it out here.
It was a short jump from holiday crafting to winter crafting for me. And, the first one I want to share is a Winter Wonderland Wreath by Curbly. I feel this is, the perfect wreath for this time of the year and I love the snowy effect. Keeping the white tones in mind, I would hang it on a dark surface which should highlight the wreath beautifully. You can learn how to make one here.
These ice votives might is one of the most amazing DIYs I’ve ever seen. It makes me wish I lived in a cold area, just so I could make and light them up, every evening. But, I’m going to make them anyway because they are just that awesome. I’m sure you’re curious about how they are made too. Click here for the steps.
We were playing this yesterday and it was such a blast. That’s why I just had to share it, with you. It takes very little time to make. And, there’s a lot of room to customise. Here’s a link to the tutorial.
There are a lot of things I can’t resist and a good paper craft tutorial is at the top of that list. Specially crafts like these cute Party Favour Pouches. From a party pov, they are practical to make (which I appreciate). At the same time, it’s an attractive and appealing design. You can make them with this tutorial.
I just discovered Morning Creativity with this tutorial and I have a feeling I will be stalking their work, now onwards. These Lego Crayons are a really innovative idea for children. You could make an entire set or make a few as stocking stuffers. I’m planning to make them with my cousins, the next time they come over for a crafts day. Here are the steps, for how you can make them too.
