Happy Tuesday Crafters! How’s your week going? Tell me about the good, the meh and the ugly. For me, The Good has been discovering an old book, which I never realised I had not read (The Black Moth by Georgette Heyer. It’s engrossing. Check it out). The meh has been the dip in energy and motivation I’ve been feeling. But, I’ll bounce back. And the ugly has been the severe lack of time I’ve spent crafting. And, that’s just a weird place for me.
But, I’m finding my feet again and couldn’t be happier about it. And what better way, than to start with the basics – Colouring. That’s probably why most of my favorites revolve around them. Click on the underlined links for the tutorials and let me now which one you like 🙂
First, are these stunningly fabulous Colouring Book Pouches by Damask Love. These make me feel so much joy! And I can’t wait to try it out.
Also, on the topic of reading and colouring are these pretty Printable Bookmarks by Dawn Nicole. I love the designs and there are a lot of variations, that can be done with the base.
Hello Natural made these Layered Scented Candles and I don’t know whether I’m more excited about the colours or the scents. Maybe Both.
Coming back to colouring though, Handmade Charlotte made these colouring placemats. What a fantastic idea for occupying children on the table!
Another craft for kids, are these Color It In Triangle Boxes. It’s a great way to start anyone of on paper crafts.
I really like the effect created on these Watercolor Notebooks by Alice and Lois. They’ve shown how to make the notebook as well and it’s a great tutorial.
And last, I want to share one of my favourite blogs Homey Oh My. They shared this Eucalyptus Garland and it’s the perfect way to bring in Fall.
That’s our diys to try for the week. As always, please share your favorite craft with us. We would love to hear from you!
